The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Damazy Cetnar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Erik Pihl came out and tried to block the shot, but Damazy Cetnar slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. The audience was convinced that Waldemar Mruk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacek Rukszcz was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wojciech Zerde in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacek Rukszcz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th match minute, SLAYER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Czeslaw Cwojdak to maneuver through the defense. Mai Yu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jacek Rukszcz. SLAYER's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 12th match minute, SLAYER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franciszek Buczak to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Roland Przybylo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Raprerzy Nowy Sacz's supporters rose to their feet, but Roland Przybylo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacek Rukszcz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Raprerzy Nowy Sacz booed when SLAYER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Andrychowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. SLAYER's Jacek Rukszcz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wojciech Zerde in the 18th minute of play. When Damazy Cetnar fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SLAYER's protests and gave Damazy Cetnar a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Raprerzy Nowy Sacz booed when SLAYER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damazy Cetnar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Czeslaw Cwojdak charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Czeslaw Cwojdak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of SLAYER:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Raprerzy Nowy Sacz:s goal. When Waldemar Grabski came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Raprerzy Nowy Sacz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Waldemar Grabski couldn't finish the play. Zenon Danisiewicz hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Jacek Rukszcz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Waldemar Mruk's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. If Wojciech Zerde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waldemar Grabski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacek Rukszcz having to interfere. When Waldemar Mruk came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Raprerzy Nowy Sacz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Waldemar Mruk couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wojciech Zerde was the one to do the kick off. Jacek Rukszcz made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Roland Przybylo sent off a good shot on target. Wojciech Zerde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Jacek Rukszcz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roland Przybylo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Jacek Rukszcz made a huge save. 58 minutes into the match, Raprerzy Nowy Sacz's Waldemar Grabski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacek Rukszcz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Erik Pihl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damazy Cetnar in the 59th minute of the match. Raprerzy Nowy Sacz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waldemar Mruk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, SLAYER's goalkeeper Jacek Rukszcz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roland Przybylo. Erik Pihl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Gall in the 75th minute of the match. Jacek Rukszcz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wojciech Zerde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, Czeslaw Cwojdak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacek Rukszcz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Waldemar Grabski in the 81st minute. Roland Przybylo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
