Damazy Dembkowski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Damian Lerych showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Damian Lerych fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damazy Dembkowski having to interfere. Damazy Dembkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateusz Kubica, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Lerych in the 12th minute of play forced Atletico Madr id's goalkeeper Damazy Dembkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boleslaw Blochowiak got free with Damazy Dembkowski in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Damazy Dembkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tytus Jaszcz in the 29th minute of play. After some careless play in the Atletico Madr id defense, Tytus Jaszcz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damazy Dembkowski. The Atletico Madr id fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damazy Dembkowski should have stopped the shot. 35 minutes into the game, one of Atletico Madr id:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Damazy Dembkowski had in the 37thth minute some difficulties stopping Damian Lerych's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Daniel Borsos took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damazy Dembkowski. Damazy Dembkowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Damazy Dembkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tytus Jaszcz, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Ryszard Borkowski's late challenge caught a Bezek's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ryszard Borkowski helped the player get up and apologised. Damian Lerych might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damazy Dembkowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damian Lerych ran back to his position shaking his head. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Feliks Lepper to make the kick off. Damazy Dembkowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damian Lerych's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. After 52 minutes Atletico Madr id's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tytus Jaszcz who took care of the corner kick. Bezek's Tytus Jaszcz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Damazy Dembkowski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Borsos in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damazy Dembkowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 58th match minute, Bezek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mieszko Duda to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the game, Daniel Borsos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Damazy Dembkowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Damian Lerych received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Damazy Dembkowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Daniel Borsos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damazy Dembkowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. In the 69th minute Boleslaw Blochowiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damazy Dembkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
