An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Borsos in the 20th minute of play forced LZS Lipinianka's goalkeeper Alin Rainea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 minutes, Mieszko Duda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bezek and the LZS Lipinianka players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mieszko Duda hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Alin Rainea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Lerych, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damian Lerych in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alin Rainea saved LZS Lipinianka from getting behind. In the 39th minute Mieszko Prosowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Asso Kullamaa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iwo Kaczanka got free with Asso Kullamaa in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to LZS Lipinianka getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Leon Mentus hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iwo Kaczanka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bezek would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
