The audience was convinced that Kajetan Pruss's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karol Grunwalski was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Rothenburg SSA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lucjan Golaszewski in the 13th minute. Leszek Siekierka took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Artur Borubar. Artur Borubar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 24th match minute, LZS Iskra Osiek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leszek Siekierka to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucjan Golaszewski in the 25th minute of play forced LZS Iskra Osiek's goalkeeper Karol Grunwalski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Rothenburg SSA getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Igor Dembowski hit a great ball. Artur Borubar was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Remigiusz Barciniak. Karol Grunwalski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Piotr Kociniewski's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Karol Grunwalski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kajetan Pruss in the 34th minute of play. Artur Borubar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leszek Siekierka in the 37th minute of the match. Igor Dembowski kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Zbyszek Werra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliusz Szel in the 51st minute of play forced Rothenburg SSA's goalkeeper Artur Borubar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute, Cristo Frutos made a precise shot to the right of Artur Borubar. Rothenburg SSA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. If Zbyszek Werra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 minutes, Piotr Kociniewski made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. LZS Iskra Osiek's Karol Grunwalski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rothenburg SSA made a substitution. Rafal Imbor replaced Piotr Kociniewski. Rothenburg SSA's Bogumil Gierasik was substituted for Zbyszek Werra. In the 66th minute, Leon Dziatkowicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rothenburg SSA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafal Imbor got free with Karol Grunwalski in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rafal Imbor came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Karol Grunwalski could save by the left post. 77 minutes into the game, Rafal Imbor recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Karol Grunwalski. Rafal Imbor showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. Rafal Imbor in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Karol Grunwalski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Artur Borubar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leszek Siekierka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Leszek Siekierka left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LZS Iskra Osiek fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. Karol Grunwalski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leon Dziatkowicz went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-5 was the resulting score. 92 minutes into the match, Cristo Frutos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Artur Borubar. Rothenburg SSA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristo Frutos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-5. If Aureliusz Szel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rothenburg SSA eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
