After 4 minutes of play, FC Daros's Juliusz Burufski made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ryszard Maziarz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 7th match minute, Nieudany Balet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Åke Jansson to maneuver through the defense. Ryszard Maziarz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sylwester Laba in the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryan Swee in the 13th minute of play forced Nieudany Balet's goalkeeper Ryszard Maziarz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Daros's Juliusz Burufski got a free kick in the 16th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Sylwester Laba managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Daros's supporters rose to their feet, but Sylwester Laba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ryszard Maziarz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cyprian Fiszer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milosz Pachucki in the 23rd minute of play. Sylwester Laba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ryszard Maziarz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sylwester Laba might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ryszard Maziarz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sylwester Laba ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sylwester Laba in the 33rd minute of play forced Nieudany Balet's goalkeeper Ryszard Maziarz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, FC Daros's goal looked a bit too open when Milosz Pachucki came free, but Cyprian Fiszer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Klement Penc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Cyprian Fiszer made a huge save. 39 minutes into the game, Bryan Swee cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ryszard Maziarz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 48 minutes into the match, FC Daros's Bryan Swee sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ryszard Maziarz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Sylwester Laba made the kick off in the second half. Vitomir Dzhankov kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Bryan Swee fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ryszard Maziarz, passed just outside the right post. Sylwester Laba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ryszard Maziarz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Nieudany Balet's Ryszard Maziarz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sylwester Laba in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of FC Daros booed when Nieudany Balet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Van Bastén didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lukasz Pionek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ryszard Maziarz having to interfere. If Bryan Swee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Sylwester Laba managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Daros's supporters rose to their feet, but Sylwester Laba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bryan Swee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Ryszard Maziarz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The FC Daros supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Daros would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
