Cyprian Adamczak's late challenge caught a Punishment's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomualdo Sauca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Carol Freitas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Carol Freitas had great luck who in the 21stth minute grab hold of the ball when Daniel Chwalkiewicz from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 23 minutes into the game, Damian Ewertowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wysocinek SA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Punishment the free kick. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Napoleon Cwojdak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Wysocinek SA's zone, Tomualdo Sauca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carol Freitas came out of the goal and Tomualdo Sauca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Tomualdo Sauca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Wysocinek SA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carol Freitas should have stopped the shot. Carol Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Napoleon Cwojdak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
