Spectators: 7729 (Terracing: 5800, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 150) Bolo Zabrze's Bogdan Zdrojowy started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Bolo Zabrze's zone, Károly Harsányi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aureliusz Kasprzykowski came out of the goal and Károly Harsányi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fryderyk Charlap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Steenbecks in the 7th minute of play. Fryderyk Charlap showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Borys Skaradoski in the 10th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Ubaldo Matildo Ubakivi made a precise shot to the right of Fryderyk Charlap. Unia Brzezie's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 20th minute, Bogdan Zdrojowy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fryderyk Charlap was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Julian Posadzki kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Aureliusz Kasprzykowski made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Witalis Borczak sent off a good shot on target. 28 minutes into the game, Witalis Borczak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Aureliusz Kasprzykowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Bolo Zabrze's Aureliusz Kasprzykowski got control of the ball when Herbert Czempa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd minute Károly Harsányi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliusz Kasprzykowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aureliusz Kasprzykowski was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Dominik Orling capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dominik Orling really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. When Witalis Borczak fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Unia Brzezie's protests and gave Witalis Borczak a yellow card for diving instead. 46 minutes into the game, Károly Harsányi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aureliusz Kasprzykowski. Károly Harsányi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

After a rather tough play, Unia Brzezie's Herbert Czempa got a free kick in the 55th minute. Aureliusz Kasprzykowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Czempa, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The supporters of Bolo Zabrze booed when Unia Brzezie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanislaw Bienienda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aureliusz Kasprzykowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislaw Bienienda in the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Borys Skaradoski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fryderyk Charlap saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 minutes Unia Brzezie's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roman Iwanowski who took care of the corner kick. Bolo Zabrze's Borys Skaradoski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fryderyk Charlap in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Herbert Czempa came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Unia Brzezie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herbert Czempa couldn't finish the play. Herbert Czempa scored 4-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aureliusz Kasprzykowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Unia Brzezie's Remigiusz Radzyminski was substituted for Bernard Olchowy. 5-2 became the score in the 83rd minute when Herbert Czempa elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 85 played minutes Unia Brzezie got a freekick which was hit by Witalis Jaszyna. When Aureliusz Moizuk came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Bolo Zabrze fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aureliusz Moizuk couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Bolo Zabrze's Douglas Steenbecks got a free kick in the 88th minute. Ubaldo Matildo Ubakivi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Károly Harsányi in the 96th minute of play forced Bolo Zabrze's goalkeeper Aureliusz Kasprzykowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Unia Brzezie's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
