When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Don Gobbin sped through Cosmos 1984 NewDance's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leon Zdrojowy. Zdzislaw Bierfass struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Leon Zdrojowy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ks 1906 Sosnowiec. Zdzislaw Bierfass sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tymoteusz Rakowski in the 20th minute of play forced Ks 1906 Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Alfred Plucinik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Ks 1906 Sosnowiec's Don Gobbin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leon Zdrojowy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Milosz Ikalewicz in 31 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Alfred Plucinik guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After a defensive mix-up in Cosmos 1984 NewDance's zone, Don Gobbin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Zdrojowy came out of the goal and Don Gobbin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfred Plucinik made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Tymoteusz Rakowski sent off a good shot on target. Tymoteusz Rakowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Alfred Plucinik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The audience was convinced that Tymoteusz Rakowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfred Plucinik was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Leon Zdrojowy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Don Gobbin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ks 1906 Sosnowiec's Alfred Plucinik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tymoteusz Rakowski in the 92nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tymoteusz Rakowski in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfred Plucinik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle went the supporters of Ks 1906 Sosnowiec were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Cosmos 1984 NewDance side.
