The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Millano Bartumeu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerzy Tomporowski in the 4th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Granatowo-Bordowi's Aureliusz Mockiewicz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reinaldo Pires narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andrzej Kinic kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Granatowo-Bordowi's goalkeeper Millano Bartumeu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Jerzy Tomporowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blue Tigers's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerzy Tomporowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Millano Bartumeu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 19 minutes into the match, Aureliusz Mockiewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reinaldo Pires. Blue Tigers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aureliusz Mockiewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The supporters of Blue Tigers booed when Granatowo-Bordowi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugeniusz Chojnacki didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Jerzy Tomporowski made a precise shot to the right of Millano Bartumeu. Granatowo-Bordowi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 28 minutes into the game, Aureliusz Mockiewicz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Reinaldo Pires. Aureliusz Mockiewicz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. 33 minutes into the match, Granatowo-Bordowi's goal looked a bit too open when Jerzy Tomporowski came free, but Millano Bartumeu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Granatowo-Bordowi's zone, Jerzy Tomporowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Millano Bartumeu came out of the goal and Jerzy Tomporowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sixten Lövkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Millano Bartumeu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerzy Tomporowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 46 played minutes Blue Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Mike Sproten. Miroslaw Przebendowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Reinaldo Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miroslaw Przebendowski to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Desiderio Izotz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blue Tigers's supporters rose to their feet, but Desiderio Izotz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Millano Bartumeu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ludomir Trynda hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Millano Bartumeu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerzy Tomporowski in the 62nd minute of play. Reinaldo Pires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miroslaw Przebendowski in the 65th minute of play. After 66 played minutes Blue Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Desiderio Izotz. Jerzy Tomporowski made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 69thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Millano Bartumeu would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. The supporters of Blue Tigers booed when Granatowo-Bordowi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrzej Kinic didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, Aureliusz Mockiewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 79 minutes into the game, Granatowo-Bordowi's Miroslaw Przebendowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reinaldo Pires made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 82 minutes into the match, Blue Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliusz Mockiewicz came free, but Reinaldo Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, Blue Tigers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tymoteusz Frodyma to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerzy Tomporowski got free with Millano Bartumeu in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Granatowo-Bordowi's zone, Jerzy Tomporowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Millano Bartumeu came out of the goal and Jerzy Tomporowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
