Tobiasz Cempa came out of the goal and Eduard Tăbăcaru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tobiasz Cempa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduard Tăbăcaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Tyski GKS's Miroslaw Andrysiak got a free kick in the 11th minute. Eduard Tăbăcaru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tobiasz Cempa having to make a save. 15 minutes into the match, Tyski GKS's goal looked a bit too open when Eduard Tăbăcaru came free, but Tobiasz Cempa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wladyslaw Nowacki might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sérgio Penha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wladyslaw Nowacki ran back to his position shaking his head. Tyski GKS's Tobiasz Cempa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Tăbăcaru in the 23rd minute of play. Sérgio Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wladyslaw Nowacki, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute of the match Tyski GKS got a corner. Thurze's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zygmunt Mochowak ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sérgio Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wladyslaw Nowacki in the 27th minute of play. Stefan Turok blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tobiasz Cempa having to make a save. A hard shot 31 in the game by Antoni Zabrzeski from a close distance when the talented Sérgio Penha managed to make a qualified save. Thurze's players were relieved. Sérgio Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wladyslaw Nowacki, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wladyslaw Nowacki in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sérgio Penha saved Thurze from getting behind. A sloppy throw-in by Adam Nigbor in the 38th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Thurze's Stefan Turok. Tobiasz Cempa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduard Tăbăcaru in the 41st minute of play. After having played for 44 minutes, Eduard Tăbăcaru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thurze's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduard Tăbăcaru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eduard Tăbăcaru to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Eduard Tăbăcaru kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tobiasz Cempa. That made the score 0-1 in the 53 minute of play. When Walery Wiatrak fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tyski GKS's protests and gave Walery Wiatrak a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th match minute, Tyski GKS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walery Wiatrak to maneuver through the defense. When Eduard Tăbăcaru came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Thurze fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduard Tăbăcaru couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute, Kazimierz Piekarczyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eduard Tăbăcaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Tobiasz Cempa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Walery Wiatrak in the 74th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Thurze's Jerzy Puzio. Eduard Tăbăcaru hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Walery Wiatrak got a throw-in 81 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Maciej Pankowski. After 82 played minutes Tyski GKS got a freekick which was hit by Wladyslaw Nowacki. Sérgio Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wladyslaw Nowacki in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Thurze had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
