Jean-Baptiste Camps took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maciej Bierfass. Proch Pionki's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Maciej Bierfass showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbigniew Absolwent, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Roman Ankiewicz scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maciej Bierfass, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 28 minutes into the match, Proch Pionki's goal looked a bit too open when Remigiusz Nocny came free, but Maciej Bierfass reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafal Jekot charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafal Jekot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Tychy booed when Proch Pionki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafal Jekot didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute Roman Ankiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maciej Bierfass saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miroslaw Dres was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 37 minutes into the match. After 38 played minutes Proch Pionki got a freekick which was hit by Miroslaw Dres. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Proch Pionki's goalkeeper Maciej Bierfass, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, FC Tychy's goalkeeper Remigiusz Dombroski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herbert Hyska. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Proch Pionki's Maciej Bierfass proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Proch Pionki from getting a goal against them. Maciej Bierfass made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Roman Ankiewicz sent off a good shot on target. After 56 played minutes FC Tychy got a freekick which was hit by Roman Ankiewicz. 58 minutes into the match, Proch Pionki's goalkeeper Maciej Bierfass had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Remigiusz Nocny. Maciej Bierfass stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roman Ankiewicz's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbigniew Absolwent in the 65th minute of play forced Proch Pionki's goalkeeper Maciej Bierfass to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maciej Bierfass made an important save on a dangerous shot by Remigiusz Nocny in the 66th minute. Maciej Bierfass stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martín Yanov's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Proch Pionki's Kryspin Dynda was substituted for Lukasz Karpinski. FC Tychy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jean-Baptiste Camps in the 72nd minute. After taking down the ball on FC Tychy's corner Jean-Baptiste Camps fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Maciej Bierfass quite easily take care of the ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Kryspin Dynda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Proch Pionki's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kryspin Dynda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Roman Ankiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 85 minutes into the game, Herbert Hyska cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Remigiusz Dombroski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 93rd minute, Roman Ankiewicz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Maciej Bierfass. The goal made the score 1-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Tychy eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
