Willian Mello made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlo Puglielli in the 31st minute. Willian Mello made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Carlo Puglielli sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Willian Mello successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice moves Carlo Puglielli could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Willian Mello however easily saved by the left post. Aristides Natanael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zdzislaw Jestrimski having to interfere. The supporters of FC United booed when GreenCut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Natanael didn't get a good kick on the ball. Willian Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beniamin Bejger in the 46th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Gilbert Sowa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Willian Mello. That made the score 4-0 in the 47 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlo Puglielli was the one to do the kick off. Willian Mello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo Puglielli, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Beniamin Bejger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Willian Mello. GreenCut's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Beniamin Bejger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 77th minute Beniamin Bejger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willian Mello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the GreenCut defense, Carlo Puglielli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Willian Mello. The GreenCut fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Willian Mello should have stopped the shot. In the 89th minute of the match, Aristides Natanael got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zdzislaw Jestrimski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Willian Mello stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlo Puglielli's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. After 94 minutes, Carlo Puglielli made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. GreenCut's Willian Mello tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. FC United's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
