The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, FC Tychy's Roman Ankiewicz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andreas Lenberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andreas Lenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Ankiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8thth minute of the game Roman Ankiewicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sosnowiec Pawiak's Andreas Lenberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jurand Lampe hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After having played for 15 minutes, Wit Wielkopolski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sosnowiec Pawiak's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wit Wielkopolski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Remigiusz Nocny scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andreas Lenberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st minute, Wit Wielkopolski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remigiusz Dombroski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Andreas Lenberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martín Yanov's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Andreas Lenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigiusz Nocny, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florian Bialakowski got free with Remigiusz Dombroski in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andreas Lenberg came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Tychy's Roman Ankiewicz. But to his dismay, Roman Ankiewicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Martín Yanov struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Andreas Lenberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Tychy. When FC Tychy's Roman Ankiewicz in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sosnowiec Pawiak's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateusz Sawicki in the 43rd minute of play forced FC Tychy's goalkeeper Remigiusz Dombroski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Tychy's Jurand Lampe got a free kick in the 44th minute. Sosnowiec Pawiak's Wit Wielkopolski got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roman Ankiewicz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Mateusz Sawicki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andreas Lenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Ankiewicz in the 53rd minute of play. Remigiusz Nocny could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Andreas Lenberg made a huge save. After a rather tough play, FC Tychy's Jurand Lampe got a free kick in the 56th minute. Remigiusz Dombroski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateusz Sawicki in the 57th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the game, Sosnowiec Pawiak's Wit Wielkopolski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Remigiusz Dombroski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Remigiusz Dombroski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wit Wielkopolski's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Andreas Lenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Ankiewicz in the 66th minute of the match. With a little luck, Sosnowiec Pawiak's Andreas Lenberg got control of the ball when Roman Ankiewicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remigiusz Nocny got free with Andreas Lenberg in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Bialakowski in the 72nd minute of play forced FC Tychy's goalkeeper Remigiusz Dombroski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Sosnowiec Pawiak's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Ankiewicz came free, but Andreas Lenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andreas Lenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Ankiewicz in the 77th minute of play. After 82 played minutes Sosnowiec Pawiak got a freekick which was hit by Wit Wielkopolski. The supporters of FC Tychy booed when Sosnowiec Pawiak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Piotr Ligas didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Remigiusz Nocny came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the FC Tychy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remigiusz Nocny couldn't finish the play. Florian Bialakowski struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Remigiusz Dombroski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sosnowiec Pawiak. In the 92nd minute Florian Bialakowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigiusz Dombroski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Jurand Lampe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Florian Bialakowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Tychy were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
