The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Stasio Czech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliks Piechna in the 8th minute of play. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Kazimierz Cichowski sped through Rakieta Solanka's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stasio Czech. Rakieta Solanka's Stasio Czech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliks Piechna in the 14th minute of play. Stasio Czech stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kazimierz Cichowski's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Kazimierz Cichowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stasio Czech. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kazimierz Cichowski ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Rakieta Solanka's zone, Marian Jaks stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stasio Czech came out of the goal and Marian Jaks tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rakieta Solanka's Stasio Czech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kazimierz Cichowski in the 23rd minute of play. FC Saxon's Gustaw Lech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hieronim Kaczor in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Feliks Piechna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stasio Czech. Rakieta Solanka's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Feliks Piechna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Feliks Piechna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Saxon's Gustaw Lech proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save FC Saxon from getting a goal against them. Stasio Czech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazimierz Cichowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Szymon Ziemba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Kazimierz Cichowski came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the FC Saxon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kazimierz Cichowski couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, FC Saxon's Gustaw Lech got control of the ball when Hieronim Kaczor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stasio Czech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kazimierz Cichowski in the 43rd minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damian Gierasik to strike the kick off in the second half. The FC Saxon fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when FC Saxon's Kazimierz Cichowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 57th minute Hieronim Kaczor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaw Lech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the last second Stasio Czech throw himself and got hold of the ball when Kazimierz Cichowski in the 60thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. FC Saxon were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Rakieta Solanka's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stasio Gniech took the corner. Zbigniew Ziomkowski's late challenge caught a FC Saxon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zbigniew Ziomkowski helped the player get up and apologised. Stasio Gniech took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stasio Czech. Rakieta Solanka's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 65th minute, Feliks Piechna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stasio Czech was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Stasio Czech made an important save on a dangerous shot by Szymon Ziemba in the 69th minute. Kazimierz Cichowski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Stasio Czech when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rakieta Solanka's Stasio Czech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kazimierz Cichowski in the 71st minute of play. Kazimierz Cichowski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Stasio Czech when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Stasio Czech made an important save on a dangerous shot by Szymon Ziemba in the 74th minute. Kazimierz Cichowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 83 minutes of play, Rakieta Solanka's Hieronim Kaczor made it 1-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gustaw Lech was left in no man's land by his defense there! 86 minutes into the game, Feliks Piechna recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stasio Czech. Feliks Piechna showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-10. In the 89thth minute of the game Kazimierz Cichowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rakieta Solanka's Stasio Czech was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stasio Czech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Jaks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Kazimierz Cichowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stasio Czech was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. 92 minutes into the game, FC Saxon's Szymon Ziemba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stasio Czech made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-11. Stasio Czech was a little too slow when Szymon Ziemba got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 1-12. The FC Saxon players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
