When Bogdan Ikalewicz came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Metropolia Otówko fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bogdan Ikalewicz couldn't finish the play. 12 minutes into the game, Janusz Wierzcholek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Orly Trenera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Metropolia Otówko the free kick. Maciej Kociniewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maciej Kociniewski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugon Dzierwa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. After 23 played minutes Orly Trenera got a freekick which was hit by Julian Scigan. In the 24th minute, Wlodzimierz Bondel sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Orly Trenera's Hugon Dzierwa didn't even have to move. Maciej Kociniewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Metropolia Otówko's Bogdan Ikalewicz got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maciej Kociniewski in the 28th minute of play forced Orly Trenera's goalkeeper Hugon Dzierwa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Orly Trenera fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! Hugon Dzierwa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Ikalewicz in the 35th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonard Iwanowski made a kick off. Wincent Zembrzuski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugon Dzierwa having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Maciej Kociniewski fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Hugon Dzierwa made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Bogdan Ikalewicz sent off a good shot on target. Maciej Kociniewski struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Hugon Dzierwa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Metropolia Otówko. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maciej Kociniewski in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugon Dzierwa saved Orly Trenera from getting behind. If Maciej Kociniewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Orly Trenera getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Leonard Iwanowski hit a great ball. Orly Trenera's Janusz Wierzcholek got his second yellow card of the match in the 69th minute. The referee ordered Janusz Wierzcholek off the ground. After 70 played minutes Orly Trenera got a freekick which was hit by Janusz Wierzcholek. 72 minutes into the game, Metropolia Otówko's Bogdan Ikalewicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hugon Dzierwa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Bogdan Ikalewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Metropolia Otówko's supporters rose to their feet, but Bogdan Ikalewicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugon Dzierwa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th minute Maciej Kociniewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugon Dzierwa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bogdan Ikalewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Hugon Dzierwa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bogdan Ikalewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bogdan Ikalewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Hugon Dzierwa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 96 minutes, Bogdan Ikalewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Metropolia Otówko's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bogdan Ikalewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Metropolia Otówko supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Metropolia Otówko would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
