But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ariel Vargas couldn't finish the play. In the 6th minute, Marian Wawro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustaw Fafinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicklas Bank, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ariel Vargas in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustaw Fafinski saved GT Real Krosno from getting behind. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Ariel Vargas sped through GT Real Krosno's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gustaw Fafinski. In the 14th minute Miromir Ferfecki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstanty Posadzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute of the match GT Real Krosno got a corner. Guardian Force's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Barnaba Brudzisz ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 21 minutes Guardian Force's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Barnaba Brudzisz who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to GT Real Krosno's Adam Harendarski getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Johan Letang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Gustaw Fafinski made a huge save. 24 minutes into the match, GT Real Krosno's goalkeeper Gustaw Fafinski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johan Letang. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Mochowak in the 32nd minute of play forced GT Real Krosno's goalkeeper Gustaw Fafinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jedrzej Owsiak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guardian Force's Konstanty Posadzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jedrzej Owsiak in the 35th minute of play. Miromir Ferfecki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konstanty Posadzki having to interfere. GT Real Krosno's Gustaw Fafinski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save GT Real Krosno from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some careless play in the Guardian Force defense, Barnaba Brudzisz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Konstanty Posadzki. The Guardian Force fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Konstanty Posadzki should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ariel Vargas in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustaw Fafinski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Guardian Force's Konstanty Posadzki got control of the ball when Adam Harendarski tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 63 minutes Guardian Force's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Barnaba Brudzisz who took care of the corner kick. Barnaba Brudzisz made a great header on GT Real Krosno's corner, it was just that Guardian Force's Konstanty Posadzki managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 68th minute Jedrzej Owsiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstanty Posadzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, GT Real Krosno's goal looked a bit too open when Ariel Vargas came free, but Gustaw Fafinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Miromir Ferfecki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Konstanty Posadzki was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game.
