Walery Joks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jurand Cempa, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Walery Joks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Napoleon Trojanowski in the 9th minute of play. Zacisze Częstochowa's Miroslaw Gollob played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radoslaw Waselewicz in the 13th minute of play. Jurand Cempa took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walery Joks. Walery Joks dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With an all-out effort, UNIA Oswiecim's Miroslaw Gollob threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ruben Tino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 30 minutes into the match, UNIA Oswiecim's goal looked a bit too open when Jurand Cempa came free, but Walery Joks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miroslaw Gollob prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristo Verdu hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After the first half Zacisze Częstochowa were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

51 minutes into the match, Zacisze Częstochowa's goal looked a bit too open when Radoslaw Waselewicz came free, but Miroslaw Gollob reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
