With a left leg Adam Matysek saved FC Gdansk36 from getting behind. 23 minutes into the game, FC Gdansk36's Witomir Kochanowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isaac Fix made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Lombas in the 26th minute of play forced FC Gdansk36's goalkeeper Adam Matysek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Inter Milano's Eugeniusz Rzeszutko got a free kick in the 27th minute. The goal made the score 2-1. 45 minutes into the match, Inter Milano's goal looked a bit too open when Witomir Kochanowski came free, but Isaac Fix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, FC Gdansk36's goalkeeper Adam Matysek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 孔松翀. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

FC Gdansk36 were furious when Willem-Jan Dittman was red carded, 51 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 50th minute, one of FC Gdansk36:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Gdansk36. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC Gdansk36's goalie and right to Kryspin Falk. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC Gdansk36's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. FC Gdansk36's Piotr Kozlowski was substituted for Iggi Kot. Inter Milano's Isaac Fix proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Inter Milano from getting a goal against them. After 89 played minutes FC Gdansk36 got a freekick which was hit by Witomir Zworski. 90 minutes into the match, Inter Milano's Wlodzimierz Dziewulski broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Adam Matysek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 孔松翀 in the 93rd minute of play. 孔松翀 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Gdansk36's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
