Grzegorz Juzda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bogdan Poreda went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 21st minute Bogdan Poreda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grzegorz Juzda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute of the match Legia Warszawa 【L】 got a corner. Red Army's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bogdan Poreda ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cezary Kucharski made a great header on Legia Warszawa 【L】's corner, it was just that Red Army's Grzegorz Juzda managed to reach the ball for a save. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes into the match, Marek Sagan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Grzegorz Juzda. Red Army's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marek Sagan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kryspin Ochabski to make the kick off. The supporters of Red Army booed when Legia Warszawa 【L】 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niccolo Milko didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Red Army fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Grzegorz Juzda should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team.
