The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Andy Symons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Witalis Mleczewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucjan Popowicz hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Artur Boruc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucjan Popowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When 杨鸿震 came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Joga Bonito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 杨鸿震 couldn't finish the play. Lucjan Popowicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Artur Boruc made a huge save. In the 21st minute David Bemabe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Witalis Mleczewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24thth minute of the game David Bemabe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Demptowo's Witalis Mleczewski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th minute Marian Kornecki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30thth minute of the game Lucjan Popowicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Joga Bonito's Artur Boruc was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Witalis Mleczewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Bemabe in the 30th minute of play. Witalis Mleczewski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Bemabe's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Kornecki in the 36th minute of play forced Joga Bonito's goalkeeper Artur Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ryszard Wielgopolski struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Artur Boruc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Demptowo. 46 minutes into the game, Demptowo's Erasmo Fero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Artur Boruc made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucjan Popowicz to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andy Symons in the 50th minute of play forced Demptowo's goalkeeper Witalis Mleczewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Bemabe in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Witalis Mleczewski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Joga Bonito booed when Demptowo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Konieczny didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Bemabe in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Witalis Mleczewski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 63rd minute of the match Joga Bonito got a corner. Witalis Mleczewski made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Ludomil Czaplicki sent off a good shot on target. Artur Boruc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Fero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Demptowo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alejo Eleazar was slow to take the kick. During this time Joga Bonito's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Tolek Turek managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 82nd minute Erasmo Fero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Witalis Mleczewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andy Symons, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After having played for 86 minutes, David Bemabe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Joga Bonito's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Bemabe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If David Bemabe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artur Boruc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Fero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Joga Bonito's Ludomil Czaplicki got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Joga Bonito's Artur Boruc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucjan Popowicz in the 93rd minute of play. Artur Boruc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucjan Popowicz in the 95th minute of play. Demptowo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
