Jerzy Niedbalski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erez Manco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by KS Ruch Chorzów's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Loukas Karaliopoulos was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Czermno's players had a chance to rest. Jerzy Niedbalski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erez Manco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, KS Ruch Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Jerzy Niedbalski came free, but Erez Manco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donny Verweijen in the 69th minute of play forced FC Czermno's goalkeeper Lin Hong Song to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Czermno's Arkadiusz Karanowski was substituted for Zula Wicherek. The corner led KS Ruch Chorzów's Karol Madajczyk to fire away a dangerous shot which Lin Hong Song despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jerzy Niedbalski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Czermno's goalkeeper Lin Hong Song, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, KS Ruch Chorzów's Roch Laskowski got a free kick in the 94th minute. Olaf Spychalski hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Donny Verweijen might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lin Hong Song. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Donny Verweijen ran back to his position shaking his head. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Czermno walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
