In the 17th minute Ilie Balaci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walery Lesiecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute Yazaki Mikołów were awarded a corner. 罗康延 went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Wiktor Walec managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ludomir Barys got free with Jurand Winszman in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as AUTO-DAX SANDOMIERZ's Slawomir Dziura slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jurand Winszman. That made the score 1-1 after 21 minutes of play. Jurand Winszman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Slawomir Dziura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jurand Winszman came out of the goal and Ludomir Barys tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roch Zachemski hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Ludomir Barys made a precise shot to the right of Jurand Winszman. Yazaki Mikołów's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tadeusz Lewicki to make the kick off. Jurand Winszman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claes Matsson in the 52nd minute of the match. AUTO-DAX SANDOMIERZ's Walery Lesiecki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save AUTO-DAX SANDOMIERZ from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Yazaki Mikołów booed when AUTO-DAX SANDOMIERZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bayındır Mehmet Çağlar didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the AUTO-DAX SANDOMIERZ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
