The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sten Thedin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislaw Kolbe in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 5th minute Bernardo Casciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Thedin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Bird FC's Mel Chung sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iwo Dombroski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bird FC were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after KS Luxik Ruda Śląska's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mel Chung took the corner. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Carnicero in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sten Thedin saved Bird FC from getting behind. Taqi Taqi kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Carnicero in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sten Thedin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. KS Luxik Ruda Śląska's Iwo Dombroski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taqi Taqi in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute Stanislaw Kolbe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Thedin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sten Thedin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Casciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sten Thedin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislaw Kolbe in the 22nd minute of the match. If Maximino Mario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. KS Luxik Ruda Śląska's Iwo Dombroski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save KS Luxik Ruda Śląska from getting a goal against them. Iwo Dombroski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maximino Mario went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Maximino Mario kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Stanislaw Kolbe might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sten Thedin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stanislaw Kolbe ran back to his position shaking his head. Sten Thedin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Carnicero in the 40th minute of play. In the 44th match minute, KS Luxik Ruda Śląska was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthon Martinsson to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Carnicero took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sten Thedin. Sten Thedin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2.

Iwo Dombroski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximino Mario's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Stanislaw Kolbe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sten Thedin came out and tried to block the shot, but Stanislaw Kolbe slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 59th minute. In the 62nd minute, Bernardo Casciano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sten Thedin. The goal made the score 1-4. Iwo Dombroski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Mario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iwo Dombroski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Mario in the 70th minute of the match. In the 73rdth minute of the game Carlos Carnicero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bird FC's Sten Thedin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 77 minutes KS Luxik Ruda Śląska's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mel Chung who took care of the corner kick. Bird FC's Mel Chung was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Iwo Dombroski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 78 minutes KS Luxik Ruda Śląska's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mel Chung who took care of the corner kick. Bird FC's Mel Chung was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Iwo Dombroski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 80 minutes into the game, Stanislaw Kolbe recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sten Thedin. Stanislaw Kolbe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. After having played for 87 minutes, Bernardo Casciano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KS Luxik Ruda Śląska's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Casciano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Carnicero in the 89th minute of play forced Bird FC's goalkeeper Sten Thedin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Bird FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Casciano came free, but Sten Thedin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Carnicero in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sten Thedin saved Bird FC from getting behind. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched KS Luxik Ruda Śląska eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
