In the 8th minute Matt Leblanc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvin van der Saar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Górnik Łęczna's Matt Leblanc sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edvin van der Saar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 12th minute Górnik Łęczna were awarded a corner. Anak Agung Agafonnikov went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 14th minute, Matt Leblanc reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edvin van der Saar. The goal made the score 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's zone, Matt Leblanc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvin van der Saar came out of the goal and Matt Leblanc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edvin van der Saar made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Matt Leblanc sent off a good shot on target. After 29 played minutes GIOVANNI DZIADZIA got a freekick which was hit by Borys Serwacki. Edvin van der Saar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matt Leblanc in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dante Rafe to make the kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's goalkeeper Edvin van der Saar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Górnik Łęczna's Ignacy Bejgier managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Wieslaw Zakrzewski in the 56 minute of the game. 59 minutes into the match, Dante Rafe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filip Hatman. Górnik Łęczna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dante Rafe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 63 minutes into the game, Dante Rafe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Filip Hatman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 69th minute, Lech Giertych hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to GIOVANNI DZIADZIA getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Lech Giertych hit a great ball. Matt Leblanc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matt Leblanc in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edvin van der Saar saved GIOVANNI DZIADZIA from getting behind. A collision led to Górnik Łęczna getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Lúkas Pīlēns hit a great ball. Matt Leblanc struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Edvin van der Saar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Górnik Łęczna. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
