Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Leonard Rosen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 10th minute of the match Huracán Varsovia got a corner. AA Bełchatów's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gustaw Kasprzykowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Gustaw Kasprzykowski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Leonard Rosen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Jacek Bondel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, AA Bełchatów's Ludomil Frankowski got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 17thth minute of the game He Di Quan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AA Bełchatów's Leonard Rosen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomasz Motowski in the 23rd minute of play forced Huracán Varsovia's goalkeeper Bruno Hermes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
