The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fragleses's Edward Mentus quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Michal Lagiewniki, made in the 3rd minute of the game. Fragleses's attentive Edward Mentus managed to snatch the ball when Patryk Barowicz made a throw-in in the 5th minute of the game. If Wiktor Gomolka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Piast Chęciny's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Haralampi Smrikarov was slow to take the kick. During this time Fragleses's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Fragleses's Haralampi Smrikarov to fire away a dangerous shot which Dariusz Piwko despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A throw-in in the 11th minute of the game was made by Michal Lagiewniki with Kajetan Brzeszczak as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 13 minutes into the match, Piast Chęciny's goal looked a bit too open when Wiktor Gomolka came free, but Dariusz Piwko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Paraszczuk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kajetan Brzeszczak's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Dariusz Piwko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zlatko Ibrahimović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert Paraszczuk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saturnino Ibañez in the 21st minute. Dariusz Piwko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pawel Iwanowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. With his leg Robert Paraszczuk managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Piast Chęciny's Saturnino Ibañez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 35 played minutes Fragleses got a freekick which was hit by Wiktor Gomolka. The audience was convinced that Zlatko Ibrahimović's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dariusz Piwko was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. In the 64th minute Kajetan Brzeszczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Paraszczuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Fragleses defense, Kajetan Brzeszczak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robert Paraszczuk. The Fragleses fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robert Paraszczuk should have stopped the shot. Dariusz Piwko was a little too slow when Wiktor Gomolka got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 1-1. Piast Chęciny's Igor Cwojdak was substituted for Kajetan Brzeszczak. Pawel Iwanowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dariusz Piwko having to interfere. Pawel Iwanowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Dariusz Piwko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Piast Chęciny's goal looked a bit too open when Zlatko Ibrahimović came free, but Dariusz Piwko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Paraszczuk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 94th match minute, Piast Chęciny was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radowit Kuszczak to maneuver through the defense. Zlatko Ibrahimović could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Dariusz Piwko made a huge save. Fragleses's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
