Lorenzo Cordaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião Xoxe having to interfere. Lucjan Adamowicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Vicente Aguiar made a huge save. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pogoń Szczecin's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cyprian Sitko was slow to take the kick. During this time Skaczące Ślimaki's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Benedykt Karwowski heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Vicente Aguiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darko Pančev in the 23rd minute of play. Leon Binau hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Lucjan Adamowicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vicente Aguiar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 41 minutes of play, Pogoń Szczecin's Lucjan Adamowicz made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vicente Aguiar was left in no man's land by his defense there! 44 minutes into the match, Skaczące Ślimaki's Lorenzo Cordaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastião Xoxe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lucjan Adamowicz came free with the goalkeeper in the 47th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vicente Aguiar could save by the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucjan Adamowicz was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes Skaczące Ślimaki got a freekick which was hit by Traian Băsescu. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Ryszard Czerwiec managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pogoń Szczecin's supporters rose to their feet, but Ryszard Czerwiec was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Aguiar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Skaczące Ślimaki fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vicente Aguiar should have stopped the shot. Pogoń Szczecin's Sebastião Xoxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyprian Sitko in the 69th minute of play. Skaczące Ślimaki's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cyprian Sitko in the 70th minute. After taking down the ball on Skaczące Ślimaki's corner Benedykt Karwowski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sebastião Xoxe quite easily take care of the ball. Vicente Aguiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darko Pančev in the 74th minute of the match. Sebastião Xoxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyprian Sitko in the 75th minute of play. Pogoń Szczecin's Stefanos Stefanopoulos was substituted for Michal Boruta. In the 83rd minute, Roman Kostrzewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darko Pančev in the 84th minute of play forced Skaczące Ślimaki's goalkeeper Vicente Aguiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vicente Aguiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucjan Adamowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, Miromir Rywin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastião Xoxe. Pogoń Szczecin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miromir Rywin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2.
