Artur Sarnat made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Leonard Popowicz sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute of the game Wawrzyniec Dropinski made a throw-in which Przemyslaw Jastrowicz played forward. Radomir Zurawski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaw Gdowski in the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, FC GIDLE's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Popowicz came free, but Artur Sarnat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of RW AHLEN-KNURÓW booed when FC GIDLE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antoni Lampe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28thth minute of the game Leonard Popowicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC GIDLE's Artur Sarnat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to FC GIDLE getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Antoni Lampe hit a great ball. Radomir Zurawski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zdzislaw Krzynowek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zdzislaw Krzynowek in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Radomir Zurawski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th minute, Wawrzyniec Dropinski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute of the game Wawrzyniec Dropinski made a throw-in which Napoleon Pisarczyk played forward. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Napoleon Pisarczyk to make the kick off. After some careless play in the RW AHLEN-KNURÓW defense, Gustaw Gdowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Radomir Zurawski. The RW AHLEN-KNURÓW fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Radomir Zurawski should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Napoleon Pisarczyk got free with Radomir Zurawski in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 71 minutes into the match, RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's goalkeeper Radomir Zurawski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zdzislaw Krzynowek. Leonard Popowicz scored 1-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artur Sarnat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC GIDLE's Tomasz Skikiewicz was substituted for Napoleon Pisarczyk. When Leonard Treppa came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the RW AHLEN-KNURÓW fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonard Treppa couldn't finish the play. Dominik Tarasek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute Gustaw Gdowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radomir Zurawski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radomir Zurawski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zdzislaw Krzynowek in the 91st minute of play. Radomir Zurawski made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Gustaw Gdowski sent off a good shot on target.
