Benedykt Perkowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Leszek Wielopolski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Marian Moizuk came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the INTER Sosnowiec fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marian Moizuk couldn't finish the play. Leszek Wielopolski made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Leo Eguzki sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 23 minutes, Leopoldo Villegas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INTER Sosnowiec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopoldo Villegas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leo Eguzki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Leszek Wielopolski made a huge save. Leopoldo Villegas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zula Kosiorek having to make a save. 26 minutes into the match, Szczakowianka's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Villegas came free, but Zula Kosiorek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Szczakowianka's Benedykt Perkowski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leszek Wielopolski. That made the score 1-0 after 30 minutes of play. Leszek Wielopolski made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Leo Eguzki sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th minute Benedykt Perkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leszek Wielopolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Szczakowianka's Zeledon Lain got a free kick in the 36th minute. Zula Kosiorek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Moizuk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leszek Wielopolski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donald Voldfrom in the 41st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benedykt Perkowski got free with Leszek Wielopolski in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donald Voldfrom in the 45th minute of play forced INTER Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Leszek Wielopolski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute Ennio Cavaliere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zula Kosiorek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 78 minutes of play, Szczakowianka's Donald Voldfrom made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leszek Wielopolski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leszek Wielopolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Vianna in the 82nd minute of play. Benedykt Perkowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leszek Wielopolski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Szczakowianka's Norbert Blicharz got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute Donald Voldfrom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leszek Wielopolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Ye Guo Ran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute, Wladyslaw Magdziarz made a precise shot to the right of Leszek Wielopolski. INTER Sosnowiec's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. The supporters of Szczakowianka booed when INTER Sosnowiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Villegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Szczakowianka fans cheered their team off the field, for while INTER Sosnowiec had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
