INTER Sosnowiec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Kisielka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leszek Wielopolski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonathan Ereinotz went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Jonathan Ereinotz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leszek Wielopolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakub Dembowski in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

INTER Sosnowiec made a substitution. Leszek Gniech replaced Emil Literski. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan Kisielka made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, INTER Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Leszek Wielopolski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kazimierz Munko.
