With an extended leg and a bit of luck Espen Bentsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Sire FF's Tore Karlsen got a free kick in the 13th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Hans-Martin Rusten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maurafolket BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Hans-Martin Rusten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Espen Bentsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Noah Enoksen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hans-Martin Rusten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Espen Bentsen having to make a save. Hans-Martin Rusten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Espen Bentsen having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tor-Ivar Rustand in the 27th minute of play forced Maurafolket BK's goalkeeper Arild Gjerdingen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Espen Bentsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noah Enoksen in the 32nd minute of the match. In the last second Arild Gjerdingen throw himself and got hold of the ball when Tor-Ivar Rustand in the 34thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Hans-Martin Rusten might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Espen Bentsen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hans-Martin Rusten ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Tor-Ivar Rustand managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maurafolket BK's Hans-Martin Rusten got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maurafolket BK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
