Espen Bentsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 35 minutes into the match, Sire FF's goalkeeper Espen Bentsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hans-Martin Rusten. Tore Karlsen's late challenge caught a Maurafolket BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tore Karlsen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th match minute, Sire FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tore Karlsen to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Tor-Ivar Rustand notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Maurafolket BK's Arild Gjerdingen. Arild Gjerdingen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Maurafolket BK's Arild Gjerdingen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tor-Ivar Rustand in the 65th minute of play. Runar Enger hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Espen Bentsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noah Enoksen in the 76th minute of play. A collision led to Sire FF getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Torbjørn Westbye hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, Maurafolket BK's goal looked a bit too open when Tor-Ivar Rustand came free, but Arild Gjerdingen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tor-Ivar Rustand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arild Gjerdingen having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Sire FF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Maurafolket BK.
