Cato Melberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Idar Helgestad in the 37th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Aasalien's goal looked a bit too open when Idar Helgestad came free, but Cato Melberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sivert Kjørstad scored 0-5 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cato Melberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

After a rather tough play, Aasalien's Fredrik Skramstad got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After 54 played minutes Aasalien got a freekick which was hit by Eirik Strømsvåg. Idar Helgestad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Cato Melberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Aasalien's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sivert Kjørstad fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Idar Helgestad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Aasalien's Cato Melberg got control of the ball when Sivert Kjørstad tried to sneak it across the goal line. Deportivo Wanka's Sivert Kjørstad got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Idar Helgestad kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cato Melberg. That made the score 0-6 in the 71 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Wanka's Martin Ramberg got a free kick in the 75th minute. Thomas Holmsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aasalien's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Idar Helgestad scored to the left of an out of position Cato Melberg, making the score, 0-7. Cato Melberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Idar Helgestad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Aasalien getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Roger Krasniqi hit a great ball. Eirik Strømsvåg hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Deportivo Wanka left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Aasalien.
