The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Finn-Christian Sundberg struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Sigve Hellum didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bleiknes. When Tore Gamst came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Jesseim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tore Gamst couldn't finish the play. Nick Head Son showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tore Gamst in the 11th minute of the match. Tore Gamst recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andreas Haaland's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nick Head Son firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, Bleiknes's Christian Andersen got a free kick in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Finn-Christian Sundberg in the 25th minute of play forced Jesseim's goalkeeper Sigve Hellum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sigve Hellum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Wiggen in the 27th minute of play. Bleiknes's Alexander Wiggen got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Finn-Christian Sundberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigve Hellum having to interfere. Alexander Wiggen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Sigve Hellum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexander Wiggen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Finn-Christian Sundberg made the kick off in the second half. Finn-Christian Sundberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th match minute, Bleiknes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikael Årvik to maneuver through the defense. Andreas Haaland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesseim's Andreas Haaland got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nick Head Son showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tore Gamst in the 67th minute of the match. Finn-Christian Sundberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anton Olberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nick Head Son having to make a save. Bleiknes's Nick Head Son played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Haaland in the 76th minute of play. When Andreas Haaland fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jesseim's protests and gave Andreas Haaland a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute, Andreas Haaland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bleiknes's Finn-Christian Sundberg got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexander Wiggen might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sigve Hellum. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alexander Wiggen ran back to his position shaking his head. Alexander Wiggen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. Jesseim's supporters rose to their feet, but Andreas Haaland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nick Head Son breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bleiknes walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
