An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolf Finne in the 3rd minute of play forced Kjerkhus's goalkeeper Nils Helgerud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nils Helgerud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Rong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Samuel Rong's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nils Helgerud was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. If Rolf Finne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kjerkhus's zone, Rolf Finne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nils Helgerud came out of the goal and Rolf Finne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the match, Kjerkhus's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Rong came free, but Nils Helgerud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolf Finne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Nils Helgerud made a huge save. If Samuel Rong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jack Langholm stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marius Valde hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Edvard Hadland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jack Langholm in the 55th minute of the match. Stian Eng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Nils Helgerud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fredrik Eide was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Rolf Finne notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Kjerkhus's Nils Helgerud. Nils Helgerud was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nils Helgerud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Rong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nils Helgerud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Rong in the 98th minute of play. The Kjerkhus players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match.
