Gard Nordheim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herman Sværen, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Joakim Røsand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julius Bakker in the 7th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Peder Hamre notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Aarö's Joakim Røsand. Joakim Røsand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mads Kjellevold kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Joakim Røsand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julius Bakker, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 18th minute, Peder Hamre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lukas Svenning hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Peder Hamre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joakim Røsand was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 25th match minute, Kiken IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Stav to maneuver through the defense. Peder Hamre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joakim Røsand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julius Bakker in the 31st minute of play. If Victor Løseth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 37 minutes of play, Aarö's Mads Kjellevold made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gard Nordheim was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Løseth in the 41st minute of play forced Kiken IF's goalkeeper Gard Nordheim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gard Nordheim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Løseth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 51st match minute, Aarö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Solvang to maneuver through the defense. Peder Hamre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Joakim Røsand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the game, Peder Hamre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Joakim Røsand was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 59 played minutes Aarö got a freekick which was hit by Herman Sværen. Peder Hamre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Joakim Røsand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peder Hamre came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Joakim Røsand could save by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Julius Bakker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kiken IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Julius Bakker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joakim Røsand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victor Løseth took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gard Nordheim. Gard Nordheim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mads Kjellevold in the 79th minute of play forced Kiken IF's goalkeeper Gard Nordheim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute Herman Sværen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gard Nordheim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute Julius Bakker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joakim Røsand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Knutsen kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Victor Løseth left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aarö fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Aarö's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
