Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Frode Grimstad took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a little luck, Solejem IF's Bent Hermansen got control of the ball when Aleksander Nedrebø tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Solejem IF's zone, Frode Grimstad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bent Hermansen came out of the goal and Frode Grimstad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frode Grimstad was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 11th minute. Dividal BF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henning Løvik during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Dividal BF booed when Solejem IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henning Løvik didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Solejem IF getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Lennart Trana hit a great ball. 18 minutes in the game, Aleksander Nedrebø fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Bent Hermansen having to interfere. The supporters of Solejem IF booed when Dividal BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kim-André Rovik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bent Hermansen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frode Grimstad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th match minute, Dividal BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asle Minde to maneuver through the defense. Frode Nerli took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kristian Mjøs. Dividal BF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frode Grimstad in the 29th minute of play forced Solejem IF's goalkeeper Bent Hermansen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Aleksander Nedrebø had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Frode Grimstad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bent Hermansen was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. In the 38th minute, Aleksander Nedrebø left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dividal BF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Aleksander Nedrebø who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Bent Hermansen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Audun Håvik didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Aleksander Nedrebø was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dividal BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Solejem IF the free kick. A collision led to Dividal BF getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Aleksander Nedrebø hit a great ball. A hard shot 48 in the game by Aleksander Nedrebø from a close distance when the talented Bent Hermansen managed to make a qualified save. Solejem IF's players were relieved. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Aleksander Nedrebø sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Asle Minde notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Solejem IF's Bent Hermansen. Bent Hermansen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Finn Eek's late challenge caught a Dividal BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Finn Eek helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute Aleksander Nedrebø shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bent Hermansen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksander Nedrebø in the 79th minute of play forced Solejem IF's goalkeeper Bent Hermansen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Aleksander Nedrebø had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bent Hermansen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frode Grimstad went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Frode Grimstad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Bent Hermansen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 93 minutes of play, Dividal BF's Frode Grimstad made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bent Hermansen was left in no man's land by his defense there! There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Dividal BF fully deserved thier win.
