Spectators: 7187 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Even Røv kicked off to start the match. Brøndby FK's Sivert Sande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bård Bryne in the 9th minute of play. Kristen Røkenes's late challenge caught a Brøndby FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kristen Røkenes helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Saltvik getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Kristen Røkenes hit a great ball. Gabriel Wickstrøm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Even Røv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16thth minute of the game Martin Kristiansen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brøndby FK's Sivert Sande was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vebjørn Aarseth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Even Røv in the 18th minute of the match. Martin Kristiansen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sivert Sande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Kristiansen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bård Bryne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 33 minutes into the match, Saltvik's goal looked a bit too open when Even Røv came free, but Vebjørn Aarseth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Bård Bryne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tor-Magnus Hille had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vebjørn Aarseth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Even Røv in the 41st minute of the match. Tor-Magnus Hille might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vebjørn Aarseth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tor-Magnus Hille ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Even Røv in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vebjørn Aarseth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sivert Sande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bård Bryne in the 48th minute of the match.

Martin Kristiansen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sivert Sande read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Martin Kristiansen took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Sivert Sande to make any attempt to save it. In the 56th minute Even Røv shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vebjørn Aarseth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vebjørn Aarseth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tor-Magnus Hille in the 59th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Saltvik's Kristen Røkenes got a free kick in the 66th minute. Sivert Sande made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Martin Kristiansen sent off a good shot on target. If Bård Bryne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The nice shot from Martin Kristiansen in the 74thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Sivert Sande had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Martin Kristiansen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Sivert Sande made a huge save. 83 minutes into the match, Saltvik's goal looked a bit too open when Olav Liabø came free, but Vebjørn Aarseth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 minutes of play, Brøndby FK's Tor-Magnus Hille made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vebjørn Aarseth was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Tor-Magnus Hille had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Kristiansen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sivert Sande having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Tor-Magnus Hille managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brøndby FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Tor-Magnus Hille was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vebjørn Aarseth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Brøndby FK booed when Saltvik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Stokka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stig Skjerping took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vebjørn Aarseth. Saltvik's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
