Spectators: 7237 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joachim Engvik kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the Haddeland defense, Håkon Haukaas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mons Rødal. The Haddeland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mons Rødal should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ole Bryne got free with Jens Høiberg in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Åge Flatås sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Austborg BK getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Jim-André Stokke hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, Haddeland's goal looked a bit too open when Åge Flatås came free, but Mons Rødal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Håkon Haukaas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 24 minutes, Joachim Engvik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Haddeland and the Austborg BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joachim Engvik kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Åge Flatås's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mons Rødal was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Austborg BK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sture Vestli in the 26th minute. Sture Vestli made a great header on Austborg BK's corner, it was just that Haddeland's Mons Rødal managed to reach the ball for a save. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Åge Flatås sped through Haddeland's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mons Rødal. Håkon Haukaas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mons Rødal having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Haddeland's zone, Åge Flatås stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mons Rødal came out of the goal and Åge Flatås tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute, Emanuel Reite had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Stian Lysaker's late challenge caught a Austborg BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stian Lysaker helped the player get up and apologised. Austborg BK made a substitution. Fredrik Øvsthus replaced Emanuel Reite. After a rather tough play, Haddeland's Stian Lysaker got a free kick in the 49th minute. After the first half Austborg BK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Åge Flatås made the kick off in the second half. Åge Flatås fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mons Rødal having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Haddeland:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Austborg BK:s goal. In the 58th minute, Austborg BK got a penalty, and Sture Vestli placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. If Karl Bunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, Haddeland's goalkeeper Mons Rødal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Håkon Haukaas. After a rather tough play, Haddeland's Stian Lysaker got a free kick in the 68th minute. After 70 minutes of play, Austborg BK's Per Valseth made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mons Rødal was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Austborg BK's Åge Flatås slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mons Rødal. That made the score 0-6 after 74 minutes of play. Sture Vestli kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Haddeland's Mons Rødal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Åge Flatås in the 84th minute of play. Jens Høiberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sturle Steinsland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Austborg BK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Haddeland throughout the match.
