Johannes Bjerkestrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brage Sandvoll could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Johannes Bjerkestrand made a huge save. Leirstein FC's Johannes Bjerkestrand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Leirstein FC from getting a goal against them. If Brage Sandvoll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johannes Bjerkestrand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjetil Arnesen, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Vikjorden's Asmund Ødegård played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristian Systad in the 22nd minute of play. Paul Lindquist lost his temper 24 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Bastian Herfindal shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Asmund Ødegård made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristian Systad in the 35th minute of play. Asmund Ødegård came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Leirstein FC's Bjarte Tobiassen. But to his dismay, Bjarte Tobiassen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Kjetil Arnesen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kjetil Arnesen made a kick off. A sloppy throw-in by André Ballestad in the 53rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Leirstein FC's Bjarte Tobiassen. Johannes Bjerkestrand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjetil Arnesen in the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Kjetil Arnesen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vikjorden fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 61 minutes into the game, Morten Sørmo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Leirstein FC's Bastian Herfindal quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 66 minutes into the match, Leirstein FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kjetil Arnesen came free, but Johannes Bjerkestrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bjarte Tobiassen during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Leirstein FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Bjarte Tobiassen hit a great ball. Sondre Valen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asmund Ødegård having to interfere. The supporters of Leirstein FC booed when Vikjorden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joachim Dehli didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Bjarte Tobiassen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leirstein FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bjarte Tobiassen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Asmund Ødegård breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vikjorden succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Leirstein FC had controlled the match.
