Kenneth Elstad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In a very dangerous position, a player in Narjordet IF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! Jan-Ivar Hermansen's late challenge caught a Åsane FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan-Ivar Hermansen helped the player get up and apologised. Narjordet IF's Kenneth Elstad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fridtjof Bøen in the 32nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stefan Kolle during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Severin Tjøsvoll made a kick off. Fridtjof Bøen kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. The supporters of Åsane FK booed when Narjordet IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicholas Krogsæter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kenneth Elstad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geir Bjordal, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 59th minute Geir Bjordal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Elstad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Kristian Jessen made a precise shot to the right of Kenneth Elstad. Narjordet IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Kenneth Elstad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fridtjof Bøen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute, Narjordet IF's Severin Tjøsvoll ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind David Fjellheim. David Fjellheim yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-2. In the 74th match minute, Narjordet IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Kolle to maneuver through the defense. David Fjellheim was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Severin Tjøsvoll capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Severin Tjøsvoll really showed his touch with that goal: 5-4.
