Herøya BK's Kyrre Theodorsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roy Søfteland in the 3rd minute of play. Kyrre Theodorsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roy Søfteland, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Jack Østbye might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kyrre Theodorsen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jack Østbye ran back to his position shaking his head. Fred Åsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Roy Søfteland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leon Ose kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After 20 minutes, Hans-Kristian Halleraker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Forza Krutt and the Herøya BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenneth Ulvin in the 21st minute of play forced Forza Krutt's goalkeeper Bjarte Eggan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Geir-Inge Selvåg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Kenneth Ulvin made a precise shot to the right of Bjarte Eggan. Forza Krutt's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Roy Søfteland blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kyrre Theodorsen having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anders Madsen in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kyrre Theodorsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jack Østbye might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kyrre Theodorsen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roy Søfteland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute of the match Forza Krutt got a corner. Herøya BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anders Madsen ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Forza Krutt's Anders Madsen to fire away a dangerous shot which Kyrre Theodorsen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Roy Søfteland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Kyrre Theodorsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Herøya BK defense, Jack Østbye kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kyrre Theodorsen. The Herøya BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kyrre Theodorsen should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Herøya BK getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Bjarte Bjerknes hit a great ball. Geir-Inge Selvåg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jack Østbye struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Kyrre Theodorsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Forza Krutt. In the 78th minute Roy Søfteland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kyrre Theodorsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jack Østbye recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Forza Krutt's goal looked a bit too open when Geir-Inge Selvåg came free, but Bjarte Eggan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hans-Kristian Halleraker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jack Østbye in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kyrre Theodorsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Geir-Inge Selvåg came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Herøya BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geir-Inge Selvåg couldn't finish the play. Forza Krutt were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
