The crowd rose to their feet as Gjermund Berre kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kenneth Ueland. Verdal FK's Morten Borgersen got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ole-Gunnar Leirdal kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the game, Morten Borgersen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Kenneth Ueland was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Verdal FK played a much better game than Schwinet and deserved their victory. The Schwinet players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
