Sigve Løvberg hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Kurråsen's zone, Gunnar Øye stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magne Joa came out of the goal and Gunnar Øye tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gustav Friis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th match minute, Kurråsen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birk Rudi to maneuver through the defense. When Gunnar Øye came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Kjellsea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gunnar Øye couldn't finish the play. Kurråsen's Magne Joa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Kvalnes in the 44th minute of play. Kjellsea's Anders Gudbrandsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Kjellsea from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kai-Arne Træet was the one to do the kick off. Anders Gudbrandsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kenneth Eknes went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Kjellsea booed when Kurråsen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noah Blindheim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Magne Joa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Øye in the 78th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stig Kvalnes got free with Magne Joa in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kenneth Eknes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anders Gudbrandsen having to interfere. Kjellsea's Anders Gudbrandsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kai-Arne Træet in the 88th minute of play. Gustav Friis charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustav Friis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Anders Gudbrandsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kai-Arne Træet in the 96th minute of the match. Kurråsen's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
