Andreas Høyvik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jon-Arne Finseth in the 9th minute of play. Andreas Høyvik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jon-Arne Finseth in the 12th minute of the match. Valdemar Lausund charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valdemar Lausund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 20 played minutes Hot Power FC got a freekick which was hit by Valdemar Lausund. The long shot by Daniel Tande in the 21st minute really tested Arnstein Solbakken's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Arnstein Solbakken made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erland Aurstad in the 26th minute. Thomas Sharma scored 0-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andreas Høyvik, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Erland Aurstad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnstein Solbakken made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Erland Aurstad sent off a good shot on target. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Erland Aurstad made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Hot Power FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arvid Lindstrøm came free, but Arnstein Solbakken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnstein Solbakken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erland Aurstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 57th minute, Jørn Abrahamsen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnstein Solbakken was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 62 minutes into the match, Hot Power FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tor-Andre Ottem came free, but Arnstein Solbakken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Jon-Arne Finseth could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Andreas Høyvik however easily saved by the left post. In the 69th minute Thomas Sharma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Høyvik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Hot Power FC's Dag Stray got a free kick in the 77th minute. Erland Aurstad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute Erland Aurstad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnstein Solbakken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnstein Solbakken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erland Aurstad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, Karnes IL's goalkeeper Andreas Høyvik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomas Sharma. Andreas Høyvik made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Jon-Arne Finseth sent off a good shot on target. Erland Aurstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnstein Solbakken having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Karnes IL fully deserved thier win.
