When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Trym Thorsrud made a kick off. With a little luck, Kjellsea's Anders Gudbrandsen got control of the ball when Trym Thorsrud tried to sneak it across the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Trym Thorsrud lined in a short shot 0-7 behind a frustrated Anders Gudbrandsen. 83 minutes into the match, Trym Thorsrud had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anders Gudbrandsen. Kjellsea's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Trym Thorsrud was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Sebastian Stokken kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. A hard shot 90 in the game by Trym Thorsrud from a close distance when the talented Anders Gudbrandsen managed to make a qualified save. Kjellsea's players were relieved. Trym Thorsrud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anders Gudbrandsen having to interfere. The Kjellsea fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Verdal FK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
