The audience thought a goal was coming when Kenneth Eknes got free with Kenneth Ueland in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Mikael Rognan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Schwinet's Thor Molund got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 13 minutes, Ole-Gunnar Leirdal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Schwinet and the Kurråsen players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kenneth Eknes came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kenneth Ueland could save by the left post. Kurråsen's Magne Joa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thor Molund in the 17th minute of play. Magne Joa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thor Molund, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. A collision led to Kurråsen getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Albert Bertelsen hit a great ball. Kenneth Ueland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kai-Arne Træet in the 29th minute of the match. When Thor Molund came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Schwinet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thor Molund couldn't finish the play. After having played for 36 minutes, Mikael Rognan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Schwinet's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikael Rognan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Kurråsen's goal looked a bit too open when Jostein Christoffersen came free, but Magne Joa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Thor Molund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Magne Joa was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Kai-Arne Træet made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Mikael Rognan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Schwinet's supporters rose to their feet, but Mikael Rognan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Magne Joa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Schwinet's Thor Molund got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Magne Joa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thor Molund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kurråsen's Magne Joa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Kurråsen from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Kurråsen's zone, Ole-Gunnar Leirdal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magne Joa came out of the goal and Ole-Gunnar Leirdal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kai-Arne Træet in the 69th minute of play forced Schwinet's goalkeeper Kenneth Ueland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magne Joa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thor Molund's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. If Thor Molund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 played minutes Kurråsen got a freekick which was hit by Kenneth Eknes. Magne Joa didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 81st minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thor Molund in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Magne Joa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Schwinet's Mikael Rognan got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
