In the 11th minute, Andreas Gran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th match minute, Kings Park Rangers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gunnar Dyrøy to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Gran in the 30th minute of play forced Blodskudt's goalkeeper Frode Lyngås to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Blodskudt getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Stein-Roger Alnæs hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, Andreas Gran notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Blodskudt's Frode Lyngås. Frode Lyngås was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stein-Roger Alnæs charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stein-Roger Alnæs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Blodskudt's Stein-Roger Alnæs got a free kick in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Lyngstad in the 47th minute of play forced Kings Park Rangers's goalkeeper Christoffer Dyrseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Kings Park Rangers were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Christoffer Dyrseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Linus Nordrum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Andreas Gran fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kings Park Rangers's protests and gave Andreas Gran a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Blodskudt booed when Kings Park Rangers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Gran didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Lyngstad in the 64th minute of play forced Kings Park Rangers's goalkeeper Christoffer Dyrseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cato Frafjord received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Frode Lyngås tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Andreas Gran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christoffer Dyrseth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Lyngstad in the 82nd minute of the match. Ronny Sylte hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. When Cato Frafjord came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Kings Park Rangers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cato Frafjord couldn't finish the play. Kings Park Rangers played a much better game than Blodskudt and deserved their victory. The Blodskudt players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
