Spectators: 7981 (Terracing: 5987, Seating: 1835, VIP seats: 159) An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarle Betten in the 5th minute of play forced Sølvguttene's goalkeeper Pål Gamst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jarle Betten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Bjørn was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 12th minute. Sølvguttene's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 13th match minute, Sølvguttene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Warholm to maneuver through the defense. Jarle Betten's late challenge caught a Sølvguttene's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jarle Betten helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sølvguttene booed when Low Expectations was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarle Betten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Snorre Dalby took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pål Gamst. Pål Gamst dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jarle Betten scored 0-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pål Gamst, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Raymond Frøland managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Sølvguttene's Morten Haavik fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 29th minute Snorre Dalby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pål Gamst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexander Warholm was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 33 minutes into the match. Alexander Warholm hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Sølvguttene's Kim Velle got a free kick in the 39th minute. After 44 minutes of play Low Expectations's Jarle Betten was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Sølvguttene booed when Low Expectations was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarle Betten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

With an all-out effort, Low Expectations's Pål Gamst threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Snorre Dalby, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 58th minute, Low Expectations's Snorre Dalby dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Snorre Dalby hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Low Expectations's Raymond Frøland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dag Hauan in the 64th minute of play. Low Expectations's Snorre Dalby got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raymond Frøland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dag Hauan, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Pål Gamst was a little too slow when Håvard Torjussen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 0-4. In the 74th minute there was a penalty for Low Expectations. Daniel Haugo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pål Gamst. 0-5. In the 79th minute Patrik Odden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pål Gamst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Dag Hauan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sølvguttene's supporters rose to their feet, but Dag Hauan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raymond Frøland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Low Expectations eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
