An unexpectedly hard shot by Erlend Slettebø in the 36th minute of play forced Sølvguttene's goalkeeper Pål Gamst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pål Gamst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Nordlien, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Morten Haavik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sølvguttene's Martin Bjørn couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 44th minute. The wind increased when Eilert Moss made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Sølvguttene's Pål Gamst got control of the ball when Erlend Slettebø tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kjetil-André Grødem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pål Gamst having to interfere. In the 60th match minute, Sølvguttene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Warholm to maneuver through the defense. Martin Hammervold hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Pål Gamst made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erlend Slettebø in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the game, Martin Hammervold threw the ball into play from the sideline. Eilert Moss received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pål Gamst came out and tried to block the shot, but Eilert Moss slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 69th minute. Pål Gamst made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erlend Slettebø in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes into the match, Eilert Moss dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pål Gamst, 1-4. Runar Lund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Morten Haavik in the 88th minute of play. Dag Hauan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Runar Lund having to interfere. Pål Gamst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eilert Moss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the game, Torstein Horntvedt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Engelsviken's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sølvguttene the free kick. A collision led to Engelsviken getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Torstein Horntvedt hit a great ball. The Engelsviken supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Engelsviken would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
